The branch of the Pushkin State Museum of Fine Arts and the National Centre for Contemporary Art in St. Petersburg is a museum, exhibition and research organization aimed at the development of contemporary local art in the context of the world art process, the formation and implementation of programs and projects in the field of contemporary art, architecture and design in Russia and abroad. The North-West branch of NCCA was opened in 1995, becoming the first of eight regional branches. Since 2020, NCCA in St. Petersburg, as well as all other branches of the network, became part of the Pushkin State Museum of Fine Arts.
